Creating a series of coffee images several years back, I created the crystals on a front surfaced mirror plate and imaged using reflected rather than transmitted light.  The resulting glow to each image and softer color pallet was quite unexpected.  Brewing coffee – drinking cup after cup lasted a few days – strangely never felt tired till I was finished imaging.  Called the collection “Caffeine Rush.”
