During 2019 I began a project called the “Heritage Art Series,” taking soil and ground material from the actual sites of historical events.  Finding a glass vial of dirt I collected from my Valley Forge 1957 Boy Scout Jamboree experience (yes, I am that old,) the chemistry extracted produced this image.  Appreciatively seeing a cold Winter sky and Milky Way as might Washington have seen during the  1777-78 Winter encampment and by my name sake, Continental Army officer ancestor, to whom this image is dedicated.
