I called it, ”Ascendency of the Soul.”
The chemistry that created the imaged crystal came from the cremation ash of a friend.
The longer observed, more apparitions appear as one’s imagination seeks to assign relevance and identity to shapes and shadows in the image especially those surrounding the upward central swirl of color and light ascending from below.
This seems to be a common theme as I create similar memorial images for family and friends. The consistency of “ascending good” in the presence of less than well-meaning surroundings is a commentary on both humanity and the times in which we live. Be heartened by the consistency and ultimate “Ascendency of the Soul.”
