And that is precisely what we hope the art does – engaging your mind in a journey of imagination trying to assign relevance and meaning – something, anything that will make sense out what you are observing.
The image is a high-resolution micrograph of a microscopic crystal formed from the essential chemical composition of a popular Vodka.
Almost surrealistic, the quandary is what is the circular structure in the middle, a portal rising over a boiling sea?
Science fiction or reality.
“But very real” I can attest, since making the crystal involves only the last several drops from a bottle and I am always the guy stuck doing the heavy lifting, consuming the contents down to the “last few drops.”
When making images of wines, spirits and beers I always look up at a sign on one of the microscopes that reminds me – “It is always 4:00PM Happy Hour– somewhere in the world right now!”
Id like to thank you for the efforts youve put in writing this blog. Im hoping to see the same high-grade content by you later on as well. In truth, your creative writing abilities has motivated me to get my very own blog now 😉
